Acceptance Conditions
- Full contract employment or regular employment
- 5 years record of being a faculty member in the form of commitments or other forms.
- Maximum 10 percent from each group/ at least one person for less-than-10-person groups
- Lack of legal obligations
- Annual promotion issued within the last two years
- Lack of disciplinary sentence in the university within the last two years
- Lack of research misconduct record leading to a sentence within the last two years.
- Except for emergency cases and at the discretion of the opportunity committee, the period between two research opportunities should at least be 3 years.
Criteria And Procedure
Criteria:
Article 1. The assessment takes place only twice a year. The applicant is required to adjust his or her travel schedule to the timetable of the sessions.
Article 2. Documents of the department and the university and their agreement should have arrived at the International Relations Management at least one month before the sessions begin.
Article 3. At each turn, half of annual shares is allocated.
Article 4. The extra share of each semester is transferred to the next semester.
Article 5. The applicant is required to appear at the sabbatical leave session and defend its proposal for 10 minutes.
The procedure:
- Receiving acceptance from the university or research center abroad
- Submitting the request to the respective head of department
- Announcing the agreement of the head of department to the respective faculty
- Announcing the agreement of the faculty to the Research Deputy of the university
- Presenting it to the sabbatical leave committee of the university
Note
- The surplus requests will be selected according to priorities of the university and the sabbatical leave committee.
- The span of the sabbatical leave is at least 3 and at most 12 months.
- While taking the course, the leaver is required to submit a report on his or her study and research progress every three months.
- The leaver is required to submit a comprehensive report on his or her scientific and research activities during this course to the university at most two months after the course ends.
- After returning home, the leaver must present his or her achievements in the area under study in the form of preparing and submitting a report in writing or copied on a CD to be filed in the library, giving lectures in inside country scientific communities-especially continuing education/retraining courses, etc. giving speeches in conferences featuring faculty members and students of the university they work in, and full settlement of the leaver’s account depends on going through the above steps.
